Move thorough an exploration of invigorating backbends! Backbends powerfully open the heart and hips, increase flexibility and strength, bring balance to the body, and create optimal back health.
This workshop begins with a flow through preparatory poses aimed at opening up and strengthening areas of the body that support back-bending. You’ll then work with backbends like upward dog, bridge, camel and wheel variations and then explore more advanced and lively variations.
This workshop is suitable for yogis who already have a regular practice, you don’t have to be ‘advanced’ to participate, we just recommend that you aren’t brand new to yoga.
